LiveNews.direct is run by SiteWorks.direct. By using it you agree to these terms.

Reading

Reading LiveNews is free and needs no account. Stories are written by members of the public. We show who reported what and when, and we mark how well a story is supported — but we can't promise any report is complete or correct. Never rely on LiveNews in an emergency: call 911.

Reporting

To report or add to a story you need a free .direct account. You are responsible for what you post. Post only what you believe is true, follow the community rules, and never put yourself or anyone else in danger to get a report.

What you write stays yours. By posting it, you give LiveNews.direct permission to show it, keep it in the record, include it in editions, share it on the .direct family of sites, and let search engines list it. Because corrections and the record matter, a report that others have built on stays in the timeline; ask us through the suggestion page if you need something taken down.

What we can take down

We may hold, hide or remove any report, and may close an account, when a report breaks these terms or the community rules, or when the law requires it.

No warranty

LiveNews is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, SiteWorks.direct is not liable for anything a reader does or doesn't do because of a report on the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed.
